The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program typically spans 160 hours, divided into 60 hours of classroom training (conducted online) and 100 hours of externship. The program aims to prepare individuals for employment as nursing assistants in healthcare facilities, such as nursing homes, hospitals, and home health agencies.

Here's a breakdown of the program and what it entails:

Technology hardware and software requirements:

  • A computer or desktop with webcam,
  • Internet connection
  • Minimum operating system (windows/IOS/Linux)
  • Updated Google Chrome web browser
  • Gmail account to access the classroom easily

Minimum Grade Requirement for a PASS: 80% OR “B”

Requirement but not Compulsory:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform job-related duties
  • Mastery of general caring skills
  • Compassion and helpful nature

Course Hours and Times?

  • CNA 160 hours (Theory – 60 hours & Clinicals – 100 hours)
  • 5 weeks
  • Day Class: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Wed, Thurs & Fri: Clinical
  • Monday & Tuesday: Zoom (Lectures)

  • TB/PPD Clearance or Chest X-Ray
  • Physical examination
